Lei Lei is a Process Engineer at Hatch, working across battery materials and refining projects spanning nickel, cobalt, and lithium production. His technical scope covers the production of nickel and cobalt sulphates from feedstocks including mixed hydroxide precipitate, black mass, and metallic nickel.

Lei also brings direct exposure to lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide production, alongside study visits to battery recycling facilities in China. His familiarity with Chinese process flowsheets and market dynamics informs his approach to refining design, feedstock evaluation, and recycling integration.
